About Sean Lim.
Sean grew up surrounded by the lush forests and vast coastal landscapes. Early on, he found himself absorbed in imaginal realms and epic stories. He took an interest in filmmaking at the age of 6, and has continued to create in the cinematic medium ever since. Drawing inspiration from his deep love of Eastern philosophy and spiritual practice, Chinese martial arts, and nature’s beauty and wisdom, Sean's films carry a unique style of embodied movement, nature’s mystical edge, and poetic symbolism. He works in both narrative and non-fiction, with a focus on the human struggle for inner liberation.
Sean has been internationally recognized, including an Official Selection at Berlin Commercial.
